Making Micro Kickboard go vroom
Micro Kickboard is a leader in high-quality scooters, kickboards and other ways to get around, for kids, adults and anyone who wants the ride to be fun. Their Magento 2 store was holding them back, so they brought in Text Connects and Digital Retail Partners to move them to Shopify Plus.
Design by DRP, built by us
Digital Retail Partners designed the new site and delivered the mockups. We built the Shopify Plus store from those mockups:
- A new homepage led by video
- A mega menu with images that their team can update themselves
- Interactive elements and product video throughout the store
- Speed optimization across the site
A big migration off Magento 2
We moved everything over from Magento 2: customers, orders and products. It was a very large migration, and the store launched on Shopify Plus with its full history intact.
Connected to the back office
At launch, the store was connected to LOCATE, their inventory system, and to HubSpot CRM.
Toward the end of 2023, Micro Kickboard replaced LOCATE with NetSuite. We helped connect Shopify to NetSuite through NetSuite’s Shopify connector, so orders and inventory kept flowing when the back office changed underneath the store.
