Upgraded Theme
The team at GroovyGroomsmen came to us with a unique question. They wanted to update their Shopify Theme to the newest version, while preserving all of the custom development changes they had created on their live theme. Along with the upgrade we needed to keep the new theme high on Google's Page Speed rankings. SEO is king with the team at GG. After a month of work we were able to consistently get over a 50 ranking on Google's Page Speed Insights testing system. We were confident that the ranking would go up when we published the theme live. After the changeover we noticed a ranking of over 60! The original storefront was ranked at 52, so with a newer theme we drastically decreased the page load time.
