What we look at
Your store, and
everything around it.
Shopify is rarely the system of record. The audit follows your data from where it starts to where customers see it.
How it runs
Two to three weeks,
start to finish.
We look; we don't change anything in your store while the audit runs.
What you get
Clear answers,
in writing.
01 What does the audit cost?
$7,500. The scope is fixed and agreed before we start, so the price doesn't move once the work begins.
02 How long does it take?
Two to three weeks from kickoff. The biggest variable is how quickly we can get access to your store and the systems connected to it.
03 What do you need from us?
Collaborator access to Shopify, access to the systems it connects to, and some time with the people who run the store day to day. We'll send a short list at kickoff.
04 Will you change anything in our store?
No. The audit is observation only. Nothing is uninstalled, reconfigured or published while we're looking.
05 What happens after the audit?
That's your call. If you want us to do the work, the next step is architecture: every field mapped and every system named before anyone opens an editor, then a build in 2–4 billed milestones. If you'd rather hand the plan to your own team, it's written so you can.
06 Do we need to be on Shopify, or on Shopify Plus?
The audit is built around Shopify and the systems connected to it, on any plan. Plus isn't required. If you're on another platform or weighing a move, tell us and we'll say plainly whether an audit is the right place to start.
07 How does the audit fit with a larger project?
Most of our engagements start here, because it's cheaper to find problems on paper than in code. If a project follows, we'll be clear up front about how the audit fits into its budget.
Clarity before code.
