Export the cart to a spreadsheet, no app required

One button on the cart page downloads everything in it as a CSV that shoppers can send for approval, attach to a purchase order or keep for reordering.

The idea

Plenty of buyers can't just check out. They need sign-off from a manager, a purchase order from accounting or a price to compare against another supplier. An Export Cart button downloads the cart as a spreadsheet, so it can go wherever their process needs it.

How it works for shoppers

  • One button on the cart page. On gemlux.com, Export Cart sits right above the cart, and it works for anyone, signed in or not.
  • A clean CSV. The file lists each item's product title, variant, SKU, price, discount, quantity and line total, ready to open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
  • Always matches the cart. The file reflects the latest quantities, even right after a change.

Why it works

  • It fits how businesses buy. The cart becomes something a buyer can forward, attach and file, instead of a screenshot or a list typed into an email.
  • SKUs come along. Purchasing can match every line to their own system and reorder the same parts later.
  • Fewer carts rebuilt by hand. When a buyer sends a spreadsheet instead of asking for a quote, the store team doesn't have to recreate the cart to answer.

What we build

An Export Cart button that fits your theme, with the columns your buyers and your team actually use. It runs inside your Shopify store, so there's no app to install and no monthly fee.

We've built it for GEMLUX and for Campania International, where Export sits next to Save Cart in the wholesale cart.

Clarity before code.
