Your brand has a guide.
Your AI tools never read it.

Brand Drift Review — $250, flat. Up to one hour of a designer's time on your storefront and the last batch of emails, ads, social posts and product images your team (or your AI) shipped. You get a marked-up report of where the brand is slipping, why, and what to fix first. Quick theme-setting fixes included. Two business days. Anything bigger gets a quote before we touch it.

Nobody decided to go off-brand.
It happened one prompt at a time.

A product shot from one image generator, a hero from another. Email copy that sounds like ChatGPT because it is. A Sidekick-built section in a blue that's close to yours. A font the new app brought with it. Each one is defensible on its own. Together, a customer landing from an ad to your PDP to your cart sees three different companies. We design and build storefronts where the brand has to hold across two domains, a catalog, and a marketing team — so we know what drift looks like before it shows up in conversion.

What we check.

The places brands drift on Shopify specifically.

  1. 01

    Storefront & theme

Color, type, spacing and imagery against your guide — or against your own best pages, if there's no guide yet. Theme settings, app-injected UI, and the sections someone built in the editor last month.

  2. 02

    Email, ads & social

Up to ten recent pieces you send us. Where the voice, layout and imagery hold, where they don't, and which drift is costing you trust versus just bothering the designer.

  3. 03

    AI-generated anything

Product images, lifestyle shots, copy and sections produced by AI tools. We flag the tells, the style collisions, and what the tool was never told about your brand.

How it works.

Two business days, start to finish.

$250, checkout right here. No call required.

  2. 02

    Send us the pieces

We email you within one business day with a short intake: your store URL, your brand guide if you have one, and up to ten recent emails, ads, posts or images. A shared folder link is fine.

  3. 03

A designer reviews and marks it up

Up to an hour against your guide or your own best work. Theme-setting fixes that fit inside the hour — a wrong color token, a stray font, a spacing setting — we correct on a preview theme.

  4. 04

    You get the report

Annotated examples, a short priority list, and a plain recommendation: fix it in-house, fix the settings, or build the brand system your tools can actually follow.

The fine print.
Out in the open.

One hour, max. $250 buys up to 60 minutes of an in-house designer's time — review, mark-up and quick theme-setting fixes together. Work beyond the hour is quoted separately and only started with your OK.

One store, ten pieces. A review covers one storefront and up to ten recent assets you send us. Send thirty and we'll review the ten that tell us the most and say which ones we skipped.

Settings, not redesigns. Quick fixes are theme settings on a preview theme — colors, fonts, spacing, button styles. New sections, new imagery, or new layouts are quoted as design work.

Not a verdict on your brand. We measure drift from the brand you have, not whether we'd have picked it. If the honest finding is that there's no consistent brand to drift from, we say so and tell you what a brand system would cost. The $250 still buys the review and the write-up.

Questions

We don't have a brand guide. Can you still review?

Yes, and that's most stores. We review against your own best pages and assets — the ones you'd point to and say "that's us" — and the report tells you how far the rest has wandered. If the honest answer is that there's no "us" to measure against yet, we say so, and that's the case for a brand system rather than another review.

What counts as a "quick fix"?

Anything a designer can correct in theme settings inside the hour: a color that should match your palette, a font a section picked up, a spacing or button style that drifted. We make those on a preview theme so you can click through. If the fix is really a redesign, or it would push past the hour, we stop and send a quote before doing more.

What is a "brand system" and why does the report keep mentioning it?

A brand guide is a PDF people read once. A brand system is the same decisions delivered in the formats your tools use: theme settings and color tokens, a Figma library, image and photography style rules, and prompt packs for the AI tools your team writes and generates with. It's how the brand stops drifting the week after the review. If the review points there, we'll quote it separately — the $250 never obligates you.

What can you review?

Your storefront (home, collection, product, cart and checkout where it's customizable), plus up to ten pieces you send: emails, paid social and display ads, organic posts, product and lifestyle images, printed inserts. Bigger than that — a full rebrand, a new theme, a second domain — start with our Data & Systems Audit or ask us about a Brand System.

Which AI tools does this apply to?

Doesn't matter. Midjourney, Firefly, ChatGPT, Claude, Canva Magic, Shopify Magic and Sidekick, a freelancer who used one of them — we review the output, not the tool. The report does tell you what each tool was missing, so you can fix the prompt and not just the picture.

Will you change my live store?

No. Theme-setting fixes go to a preview theme by default. We push to your live theme only with your written sign-off.

Who actually does the review?

An in-house Text Connects designer — the same people who design the storefronts our developers build. Not a checklist, not an AI scoring your site. We'll use our tools to gather and compare; the judgment is a person's.

Do I need to be an existing client?

No. This is built for people who've never worked with an agency and don't want to start with a discovery call.
