The idea
On most collection pages, a product card shows one color, and the swatches under it are just dots. Shoppers have to open the product to see the shade they want. Let them see every color right on the card.
How it works for shoppers
- Arrows on the card. On Lilla P, hovering a product shows arrows on its photo.
- The photo changes color. Each click shows the product in the next color: the Washed Twill Pant goes from green to tan to brown.
- The swatch keeps up. The matching swatch under the card is highlighted as the photo changes, so shoppers always know which color they're looking at.

Why it works
- Color sells clothes. A shopper who doesn't like the first color shown may never click, even if their favorite shade exists.
- Fewer clicks back and forth. Comparing colors happens on the collection page instead of across several product pages.
- The collection page shows the full range. Every color gets seen, not just the one in the default photo.
What we build
Product cards that show each color's own photos, with swatches that match your brand and work on touch screens as well as with a mouse. Read the Lilla P case study.
