A mega menu that sells, not just sorts

A multi-level menu that shows categories, subcategories and featured products together, so shoppers can find a part or jump straight to a best seller from any page.

The idea

Stores with deep catalogs hide most of it behind a short menu. A mega menu opens the whole catalog in one place, and the space beside the links can sell: featured products and collections for each category, right where the shopper is already looking.

How it works for shoppers

  • Every category in one list. On gemlux.com, Shop opens a list of categories from New Products and Outrigger Systems to Rod Holders and Tuna Tubes.
  • Subcategories on hover. Pointing at a category shows what's inside it, like Apparel, Boat Accessories, Cup Holders and Flagpoles under Accessories + Apparel.
  • Featured picks for each category. Photo tiles with Shop now buttons change with the category, from apparel to outrigger bases and rigging kits.

Why it works

  • Shoppers see the whole range. Nobody has to guess what's under a vague menu label.
  • Fewer clicks to a product. A featured tile can take a shopper from the menu straight to the product page.
  • Merchandising space on every page. The menu goes everywhere the shopper goes, so a seasonal pick or new arrival gets seen site-wide.

What we build

A menu organized around how your customers shop, with featured products and collections your team can swap for each category, and a version that works just as well on a phone. Read the GEMLUX case study.
